Candle and a Crown
For Resurrection Sunday, my Mom decided to re-purpose a wreath and toothpicks and make a crown from it. Every night, we light the candle in the middle. It's so pretty and calm. I took it from an aerial angle because I've heard some photographers only take ground-level shots. So, I tried something 'new' and came up with this.

Handful Of Nuts
My siblings decided to collect a whole bunch of walnuts from our front yard tree and put them in a big pile. While they were doing that, I asked my sister to hold out her hands and show me all of her nuts. The sun was shining through the trees and onto her hands, so I like that part of the photo. The varying colors are also nice. I'm glad my siblings are willing to put up with my impromptu photo sessions!

Dirty Bare Feet
A friend of mine has an adorable little brother, and when we came for a visit, he showed off his climbing skills on their play set. He stood at the top and smiled down at us, and I took a photo of his feet. Strange, yes. But don't photographers take photos of everything (at least, my Mama says that about me!)?

On Silver Wings
I like the combination of light and dark in this photo. One a nice, low-wind day, I decided to do some macro photography with the flowers next to our porch. Butterflies were fluttering around the little budding flowers, and some landed and walked around. With a little darkening, this photo became kind of glorious, I think. This photo shows how creative God really is.
