Glittery Homecoming

The whole family drew pictures that said "Welcome Home" and threw glitter on them (outside, yes!), so that when the parents came home from a trip, they would see them.

The Hive And The Honeybee

This is a book I found once, so I took a photo to remember to look for it sometime. I came across it and thought, "Why not use it for the blog?"

Tomato Box

At the Farmers Market, I was taking photos for some reason. I wish I could just go back and take a few more! :)

Saturdays Selections (Joy Is Abroad)

I found this old songbook in a roadside Church sort of in the middle of nowhere! There was an old piano too. I enjoyed seeing that little Church.

Alpaca

We went to an alpaca farm once and I was all over the place taking photos. I took close-ups and landscapes of the alpacas (I'll post more of those soon. They had really soft wool, and they loved coming up to us...if you had food in your hand. :)

A Calf's Nose

We went to a dairy farm some time ago and I couldn't resist a close-up of a calf's face. Only, his nose was really the only thing in it!

Hibiscus in Bloom

We have a hibiscus plant near our porch and it's so enjoyable seeing those bright pink flowers even in the rain.

Water Lily

At our park, my friend and I took photos of water lilies in the water fountain. We exchanged all our photos and I think I like macro shots better than any other angle (except maybe portraits).

Macro White

What interests me in this photo are the flowers at different lengths, adding depth to the shot.

Saturdays Selections (Upside-Down Face)

My friend taught me how to do these crazy-silly "upside-down faces." What you do is sit upside-down and draw a face on your chin (we used a pen because it comes off easier). Cover the rest of your face with a blanket. Then, you talk and laugh. It is so hilarious because it makes your teeth look huge when you smile! :D

Monarch Migration

I took this photo at our park garden. There were so many butterflies out!

Red and White in the Garden

This "tye-dye" (as my friend called it) was one of the flowers I saw while walking in our park's flower garden with my friends.

Thank-you, Mimi, for asking me to share more about my photos.
